Pursuant to the Governor's Executive Order S-13-09, our office will be closed on July 10, 17, and 24. From August 2009 through June 2010, all offices will be closed on the first, second, and third Friday of each month.
Welcome to the "Inquire Before You Hire!" website. You are taking the first step in protecting yourself from becoming the victim of unlicensed, dishonest, and unqualified service providers. You can also help combat illegal unlicensed business activity.
When you verify that the service provider you hire is a licensed professional, you are assured that the person meets the education, training and skill requirements of that profession. You are also assured that the work done will meet California's minimum health and safety standards.
